Manifesto, Why Venture Speed

Since I published the 2nd edition of the Startup Studio Playbook in 2019 I was largely silent on social media. I was focusing on clients helping to get from Zero to Minimum Viable Studio and the GVN Studio Bootcamp. This meant working with hundreds of founders, leaders, new insight, new methods, new ideas. Lots of failures and successes. And now everything is coming together into a new system.

Oh, and there's AI.

Lot of noise, lot of hype, lot of worries. But no clear and holistic framework or step-by-step guide for venture builders like you. Not just implementation guides for individual tools, but a system-wide approach that respects people, strategy, culture and ops. 

Every decade or so, a shift happens that changes the rules of company building. And one of those shifts now is the fusion of Venture Studios with AI. 

But this isn’t just about technology. It’s about beliefs. 

At the heart of the startup studio model is a belief that entrepreneurship should be more repeatable, more entrepreneur-friendly, and less wasteful. That we can create not just more startups, but better ones. Designed with intention, backed by systems, and built by teams who move fast because they trust each other.

AI, when used well, amplifies this belief. Not as a short-term trick or shortcut. But as a force multiplier for what makes us human: curiosity, creativity, decision-making. This book is a launch manual, yes. But more than that - it’s my statement of belief.
