2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Venture Studio Solutions Ltd processes personal data in connection with the VentureSpeed website, accounts, Explorer subscriptions, news feed, studio catalog, support communications, and related services.

Separate purchases of the Venture Speed Book are processed through Payhip and are also subject to Payhip's privacy policy.

3. Information We Process

• Account information: Email address, Supabase authentication identifier, account creation information, and authentication activity.
• Subscription information: VentureSpeed tier, subscription status, Stripe customer identifier, Stripe subscription identifier, trial status, and related billing events.
• Payment information: Stripe processes payment details. VentureSpeed does not store complete payment-card numbers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, security events, and server logs processed by hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Communications: Information you provide when contacting us through email or LinkedIn.
• Book purchase information: Payhip may provide order, buyer, payment-status, and support information connected with a Venture Speed Book purchase.

VentureSpeed does not currently operate a website contact form and does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data from account holders.

4. Public-Source Content

The VentureSpeed news feed and studio catalog process information obtained from public websites, RSS feeds, publications, company websites, and other publicly accessible professional sources.

This information may include author names, professional roles, publicly reported individuals, company associations, source URLs, article metadata, and professional business information.

Public-source information is processed to provide industry news, search, classification, studio research, and structured business information. If you believe public-source information about you is inaccurate or should be reviewed, contact us using the address in Section 1.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Providing accounts and paid features: Processing necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps requested before entering into a contract.
• Subscription administration and payments: Processing necessary to perform the contract and comply with accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
• Security, abuse prevention, and service operation: Our legitimate interests in protecting the Service, users, and infrastructure.
• Support and direct communications: Performing the contract, taking requested pre-contractual steps, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• Public-source news and catalog information: Our legitimate interest in providing professional industry information, research, classification, and source discovery.
• Legal compliance and claims: Compliance with legal obligations and establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Where processing relies on legitimate interests, we consider the nature of the information, reasonable expectations, necessity, and potential impact on affected individuals.

6. Service Providers and Recipients

We use service providers where necessary to operate VentureSpeed:

• Supabase: Authentication, account records, database infrastructure, and session management.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery, including magic-link authentication emails.
• Stripe: Explorer Checkout, subscription billing, payment processing, and the Customer Portal.
• Vercel: Application hosting, delivery, infrastructure, and technical logs.
• Payhip: Separate Venture Speed Book checkout, payment support, delivery, and order administration.
• Content-processing providers: Retrieval, extraction, classification, and automated summarisation of publicly available source content. Account passwords and complete payment-card details are not intentionally sent to these providers.

Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a legitimate business reorganisation.

7. International Transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Hungary or the European Economic Area.

Where required, international transfers are based on an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your personal data.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

VentureSpeed uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies that are necessary to provide secure authentication, maintain user sessions, protect the Service, and remember essential technical state. These technologies are required for signed-in features and are not used by VentureSpeed for behavioural advertising.

Supabase may set or manage authentication-session data on our behalf. The duration of this data depends on the authentication session and its security configuration.

Stripe and Payhip may use their own cookies when you visit or interact with their hosted checkout or account-management services. Their use of cookies is governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies.

If VentureSpeed introduces analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and request consent where required before activating them.

9. Retention

• Account information is retained while the account remains active and afterwards only where needed for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
• Subscription and transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
• Security and infrastructure logs are retained for limited periods determined by operational need, provider settings, and security requirements.
• Direct communications are retained while an enquiry is active and afterwards where reasonably required for recordkeeping or legal claims.
• Public-source news and catalog information is retained while it remains relevant to the Service, subject to correction, review, legal obligations, and applicable rights.

Data may be retained longer where required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal data;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of personal data;
• request restriction of processing;
• receive eligible data in a portable format;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing;
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Requests may be sent to szigeti.attila@gmail.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity. Requests are handled without undue delay and generally within one month as required by applicable law.

The right to deletion is not absolute. Certain information may be retained where required by law or needed for legal claims, security, accounting, or freedom-of-expression and information purposes.

You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Personal Data Breaches

Venture Studio Solutions Ltd documents and assesses suspected personal data breaches. Where a breach is likely to create a risk to individuals, we will notify the competent supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours after becoming aware of it.

Where a breach is likely to result in a high risk to affected individuals, we will also inform those individuals without undue delay, unless an applicable legal exception applies.

14. Automated Processing and Children

VentureSpeed may use automated systems to classify and summarise public-source content. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for account holders.

VentureSpeed is intended for adults and professional users. It is not directed to children under 18.

15. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest update date will be shown at the top of this page.

Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
