Terms of Service

1. Operator

VentureSpeed is operated by Venture Studio Solutions Ltd, registered at 5 Nagyenyed Street, H-1123 Budapest, Hungary.

2. Acceptance and Eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using VentureSpeed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Description of the Service

VentureSpeed provides a curated venture studio news feed, a searchable venture studio catalog, studio research materials, structured metadata, and related information products.

The Venture Speed Book is a separate digital publication sold through Payhip. It is not included in the VentureSpeed Explorer subscription.

Features, coverage, data fields, limits, and availability may change as the Service develops.

4. Accounts

VentureSpeed uses passwordless email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account used to access the Service and for activity performed through your VentureSpeed account.

You must provide accurate information and must not share access, impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive purposes, or attempt to bypass account or subscription restrictions.

5. Free and Explorer Access

Free accounts receive the features and limits displayed on the VentureSpeed website. Explorer subscribers receive additional history, filters, exports, catalog information, and other features described on the pricing page.

Explorer currently costs $19 USD per month. Applicable taxes, discounts, and promotion codes are shown during Stripe Checkout.

Eligible new subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription and the payment method is charged.

The Explorer subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled. Any price change affecting a future renewal will be communicated in advance where required by law.

6. Cancellation, Refunds and Consumer Withdrawal

You may manage or cancel an Explorer subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your VentureSpeed account. The Portal will show whether cancellation takes effect immediately or at the end of the current billing period.

Cancelling during the free trial prevents the first subscription charge. After a paid billing period begins, payments are generally non-refundable and no partial-period refund is provided, except where required by applicable law.

If you are an eligible consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online service contract within 14 days of concluding it. This right is separate from ordinary subscription cancellation.

To exercise a statutory withdrawal right, email szigeti.attila@gmail.com with your account email, subscription date, and an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw. Any refund and termination of access will be handled as required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Acceptable Use and Export Limits

Explorer subscribers may export article metadata subject to the limits displayed in the Service, currently up to 100 records per export request.

You must not:

• scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically copy the Service without written permission;
• redistribute, resell, or publish substantial portions of the VentureSpeed database or feeds;
• bypass access controls, subscription limits, or technical protections;
• interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users;
• use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

Reasonable personal and internal business use of information obtained through the normal interface is permitted.

8. Source Content, Accuracy and Professional Decisions

VentureSpeed links to third-party publications and public sources. Articles and original source materials remain under the control and responsibility of their respective publishers and rights holders.

Summaries, classifications, dates, studio profiles, links, and other structured information may be created or assisted by automated systems. Although reasonable efforts are made to improve accuracy, information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

VentureSpeed does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying information before making business, investment, or legal decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

VentureSpeed does not claim ownership of third-party articles or publications linked through the Service.

The VentureSpeed name, branding, software, interface, database structure, selection and arrangement of information, and original editorial materials are owned by or licensed to Venture Studio Solutions Ltd to the extent protected by applicable law.

Access to the Service does not transfer intellectual property rights or grant permission to reproduce or redistribute the VentureSpeed database.

10. Third-Party Services

VentureSpeed relies on third-party services including Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, and Payhip. Links to external websites and services are provided for convenience.

Third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, availability commitments, and security practices. VentureSpeed is not responsible for third-party websites or content.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, investigate abuse, comply with law, address security risks, or enforce these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. Deleting an account does not automatically replace the need to cancel an active Stripe subscription.

12. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. VentureSpeed makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.

VentureSpeed disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy, to the extent such warranties may lawfully be excluded.

VentureSpeed shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

13. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content displayed or referenced by VentureSpeed infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact us at szigeti.attila@gmail.com. Include your contact information, identification of the protected work, the relevant VentureSpeed or source URL, and an explanation of the alleged infringement.

We will review sufficiently detailed complaints and may remove or restrict access to disputed material where appropriate.

14. Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback or suggestions you voluntarily provide about VentureSpeed may be used to improve or develop the Service without compensation or obligation to you. This does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property or confidential information.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without limiting any mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws of their country of residence.

The courts of Hungary have jurisdiction unless mandatory applicable law gives a consumer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Before starting formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

16. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the Service, providers, pricing, or legal requirements. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.

Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated where required by law.

17. General Provisions

Force majeure: VentureSpeed is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including infrastructure failures, service-provider outages, natural disasters, governmental actions, or widespread network disruption.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. Venture Studio Solutions Ltd may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable consumer law.

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms presented to you, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Service.

Notices: We may provide service-related notices through the Service or by email to the address associated with your account. Legal notices to Venture Studio Solutions Ltd should be sent to szigeti.attila@gmail.com.
